  • Master's degree and work experience at Sorbonne Nouvelle

  • international background

My name is Vanessa. I come from Northern France. Paris adopted me in 2006 when I came to study for my Masters in French as a Foreign Language at Paris III - Sorbonne Nouvelle. I speak French (my mother tongue), English (my father tongue!) and Spanish (learnt from a beginner level and in total immersion during my final year of Masters at the University of Seville). Since I started teaching French in 2003, I have broadened my experience in terms of target groups, ages, levels, learning contexts, skills to be acquired and objectives.

In particular, I spent twelve years working in a human-scale Parisian language school for adults, where I was free to design tailor-made programmes and creative workshops for learners. This experience alone means that I trained several thousand students from all over the world. Since 2017 I have also been preparing international students of Grands Établissements and Universités in Paris on academic objectives: DELF/DALF exams, entrance examinations, refresher courses for instance.

With passion for my job and for words, I hope to pass on to you my enthusiasm for my beautiful language and help you find a way to express yourself in French!

to discover - a little bit of - my world
