BLOOMING FRENCH is located in the trendy northeastern part of Paris, a stone's throw away from the most romantic and picturesque park: les Buttes Chaumont. Our cosy classroom is close to the coloured houses and the quiet courtyards full of flowers of la Mouzaïa.

 

Coming to this part of the city is a great opportunity to discover an unusual Paris, secret hills and hidden villages: Jourdain, la Butte Bergeyre, l'Ermitage for instance, where meeting the locals is much easier! You can also indulge in the 19th arrondissement street art and why not try a pétanque game during an apéro along le Canal de l'Ourcq.

 

It is a chance to stray from the tourist loop, explore magical spots and views from the Belleville heights and enjoy hip hangouts such as Rosa Bonheur, le Bar fleuri facing the contemporary art centre le Plateau, for a typical Parisian bistro experience, la Gare jazz for good music and rejuvenating wastelands like Jardin21 or la Bellevilloise and their festive programmes.

 

There are plenty of restaurants and commerces de bouche (bakeries, cheese and wine shops, delicatessens...) lining the streets of this beloved neighbourhood, waiting to be tried.
